Payments
Payment Types
We take Secure Methods Only: Cash, Certified Bank Checks, and Wire Transfers ONLY. The easiest way is for us to send you a payment request from Bill.com for a wire transfer. Payments are due at the start of the project. We do not accept Visa / Mastercard / Discover / AMEX, PayPal, Escrow, .
Lets talk about our accepted payment methods for your next crate engine purchase. Most custom projects require expensive custom parts, which are ordered to spec. These parts include pistons, valves, cams, bearings, head gasket; just to name a few. When ordering these parts, they are generally not returnable once ordered. This means when a projects is canceled for any reason, the pile of expensive parts still exists. We do offer a 25% restocking fee in case of an emergency cancellation, which can take over 30 days to process. We can do this because we only accept "secure payments" in our program. A secure payment is a one way payment, that cannot be "disputed" and held. Those types of payments are considered "escrow" in which we do not build projects on escrow. We physically need the funds to purchase your expensive, non returnable parts. You and I would be at risk, if our other customers where allowed to reverse their payments at will, creating panic in our parts department, assembly line, front desk, etc.

So, we only accept: Wire Transfers, Certified Bank Checks, and Cash. (Western Union Upon Request)

There are many details when dealing with custom builds. We do not want to deal with online fraud, fast to pay customers, payment disputes, chargebacks, non planned cancellations, etc. If we control the funds, we can then control emergency cancellations and keep our shop running smoothly. We will not book your job if we do not have control of the funds.
The Two Payment Method of Trust
Still not convinced? We have a solution! Our Two Payment Method of Trust has been working great since implemented. We split your bill into two sections; Parts and Labor. We ask for the first payment to purchase your complete parts list. This almost guarantees your project to be completed on time, and without parts delays. Once we show that your funds have been used on your custom parts list, we then ask for the second payment upon our pre-arranged timeline. This method allows you to break the bill in two, and allows us to get parts early. Lastly there is an incentive for us to get your parts in fast, as we do not get ours until YOUR parts are here.
